Each market is uniquely curated and could include a handpicked selection of home decor items, jewellery, locally made designer fashion, accessories, vintage goods, upcycled furniture, kids clothing and toys, ceramics, handmade shoes, paper art and printing, contemporary crafts and textiles.
The market is curated by Cecile Blake, a graphic designer and former film industry creative. Cecile is passionate about beautifully crafted things and loves sourcing unusual products for the market. It’s not surprising that The Treasury Market is becoming known among savvy cool-hunters and shop owners as a great shopping destination to spot the next best thing.
The Treasury Market is hosted on the first Saturday of the month at the Oude Libertas Theatre in Stellenbosch, and runs alongside the hugely popular Stellenbosch Slowmarket, the leading slowfood market in the Cape, drawing crowds of over 2000 people per Saturday.
